It’s time for another rate hike….don’t know if I’ve missed some, probably so, but here is the information you need…..

This is a quote from the ”way too small printed” announcement……

I quote…..”Beginning January 17, 2021, your monthly bill will include a Federal Cost Recovery Fee of $0.19/month. Previously, this fee was assessed once a year. The fee covers the expense of regulatory fees that DIRECT TV pays to the Federal Communication Commission and it may include costs incurred in prior years that are not yet fully recovered. The fee is not a tax or surcharge that the government requires DIRECT TV to collect from its customers.

MY FAVORITE PART IS: and it may include costs incurred in prior years that are not yet fully recovered. READ THAT LOVELY PART again….How well would it go over if your customers had that in their next bill….or, as a buyer, you had it in yours! Wait a minute….you, as a buyer DID get the quote in your bill….!

Remember, if you don’t read your bill….it’s YOUR fault…..what a shame….what a trust issue.
