Once upon a time…..I purchased at a major store and had it put on their credit card for the wonderful extra discount we all know about. When the bill came I paid it…..follow me now…..the bank said my one of 3 accounts was closed and refused to pay…..the store billed me again plus late charges and fees….keep following….I called and told them the account was open (they insisted the bank had said it was closed but they never returned the check to the bank)……and so to make everyone happy I paid the amount less the overdue charges and interest online…..problem solved but not solved…bank said it wasn’t them cause they have no record…..store said it wasn’t them cause the bank said account was closed…..

BUT NO……PROBLEM NOT SOLVED!!!!!!

Received statement from store today….shows I have a credit of 2 late fees and one interest charge…..The magic number is $32.33….

FACTS….Everyone made a mistake but me……..no one admitted it……store went over backward to make things right……they lost $32.33 by doing it…..

WHY…….Store gave me credit for money charged to me, but never paid by me. I paid the original amount as asked, but they took all extra charges off …….so amount should have been ZERO …none…nada…0

Now I’m not perfect by any means but I do know right from wrong…so I called the store this morning to explain the situation……I did….person understood…..BUT…..the store gave me two choices. I can leave the credit on the account and use it on future purchases, or they can send me a check for $32.33. The choice to clear the account to zero because I don’t owe them and they don’t owe me……was not to be.

After asking to speak to a higher-up (and not in anger at all) it was found they were on a call and to offer the same two choices again……WHAT’S A MOTHER TO DO?

They are sending me the check……..

I’ll keep it in my hidden cash box and if ever they decide to redo their adding and subtracting in accounting…finding that NOW I OWE THEM…..I will be ready for immediate payment.

PS Have you been involved with the suit with Verizon about charging fees with no name? Well, there will be a payout if you fill out the forms and submit the type of payment you desire. I did ……BUT NO….IT WAS NOT TO BE…..

It seems I asked for a credit card with the amount I should receive. I needed to fill out my email address to finish up because they had everything else…..didn’t work….the verification number from the credit card company never came….for days……and still hasn’t when I try again. I’M TIRED…..IF YOU HAVE VERIZON….YOU HANDLE THIS ONE AND WRITE ME BACK……THANKS
